Let's learn to take action ....
How to take
the correct measurements so that our crochet fabric garment is accurate?
The
silhouettes indicate the measures to be taken. The contours usually have to be
somewhat loose, since the fabrics are weaker than the fabrics in the
confections.
we will
begin to take the necessary measures so we start to knit and make sure that our
garment is the perfect size.
A- Total
length:
Measure the
upper part of the shoulder up to the waist or to the desired length, including
the busts in case it is for women.
B- Overall
Width:
contouring
the back and the front but not adjusting too much, including the busts in case
that is for woman.
C- Waist:
Measure by
contouring all the waist but without adjusting much.
D- Hip:
Measure by
contouring the most prominent part of the hip but not adjusting too much.
E- Sleeve
length:
Measure from
the end of the shoulder to the wrist taking care that the arm is well
stretched.
F- Sleeve
Width:
outlining
the wider upper arm and adding 2 cm more for better mobility.
G- Fist
Width:
Measure by
contouring the whole fist but not adjusting too much.
H- Neck:
Measure by
contouring the entire neck but not adjusting too much.
I- Long
Skirt or skirt:
Measure from
waist to desired length.
Once the
measures are obtained we will know our size, for that consult the measurement
tables to crochet.
